A Roswell bakery is a special place. First, it provides tasty treats and - sometimes - nourishment.
I mean, who wouldn’t want to sample every morsel of wonder that comes from their favorite bakery? It might be the flavorful bread, an exquisite cake, or a delectable pastry you crave.
Whatever it is, the mere sight of a bakery conjures up mouth watering images along with the tasty longings that always seem to accompany them.
Imagine the combination of taste, aroma, and flavors that are enough to make you forget about everything else. A great bakery is sure to provide the soulful solution to those yearnings.
It could be a major chain with a long list of products and outlets scattered around the country or it could be a cute little family owned and operated business that’s been in operation for decades. It doesn't matter for me.
Either way, the taste and flavor of the goodies are what matter.
There Is Something Special About A Bakery
For those of us who live in small, close knit communities, bakeries go beyond just the taste.
Sure, we want our local bakeries to churn out the best goodies that they can. Make no mistake about that. But there is one key ingredient that makes it even more special. That ingredient is the sense of community that comes with frequenting your favorite pastry den.
People who enjoy life in relaxed and cozy communities like Roswell know what I am talking about. Heading to your favorite bakery to sample your favorite munchies can quickly become a different experience entirely.
It can be a place to meet familiar and friendly faces and enjoy a little conversation. Of course, the small talk can always turn into a mini social event where people get to enjoy each others company in addition to their favorite pastries.
You can find that exact type of place I am talking about in Roswell. It is that place where you would go if you wanted to get away from the busy and crowded life in Atlanta.
Whether you stay for just a bit or you remain to while away a few hours is entirely up to you. But chances are that your experience will be enriched once you pay a visit to any of Roswell’s bakeries.
My Favorite Roswell Bakery
To be honest with you, I can't pick just one favorite bakery in Roswell. But I do have favorites that I frequent.
And my wife and I love a Saturday morning trip to Douceur De France on Alpharetta Highway for coffee and the Le Cygne, a puff pastry filled with vanilla cream and strawberry preserve that is killing my weight loss goals.
There is no doubt that you will experience a little heavenly slice of Roswell in the offerings of each of these bakeries.
You should give them a shot. But you'll need to take a walk later.
